The Man From the Alamo
Capsule by Dave Kehr
From the Chicago Reader

The surly, alienated hero who was to become the centerpiece of Budd Boetticher's great Randolph Scott westerns of the 50s makes his first, tentative appearance in this 1953 feature, in the guise of Glenn Ford--who, as the only American to survive the Alamo, must endure charges of cowardice until he is given a chance to prove his true colors. With Julie Adams, Victor Jory, Chill Wills, and Neville Brand.
